Creative, original and exceptional images and sounds are the essence of Lasso Productions. A boutique, production, post-production and multi-media studio with low overhead and state-of-the-art equipment, Lasso Productions, can output big studio quality for substantially less investment.

The driving force behind Lasso Productions is its founder and owner, Greg Wolske. A guitar player since an early age, Wolske began experimenting with audio recording while in college. He purchased a 4 track, multi-track recorder and in the spirit of Les Paul, learned to overdub and bounce tracks in order to record himself playing the various instrumental parts, including drums and bass guitar for his original songs. He also started working with stop-action animated 8mm film. The video revolution began, equipment got cheaper and by 1984, the broadcast quality production company that would become Lasso Productions was born. Self-taught, Wolske, continued to develop his skills and became highly proficient in video and film production, lighting, location and studio sound, video editing (linear and non-linear), animation and computer graphics. Producing, directing, writing, designing and creating are all part of Wolske’s hands-on approach to his productions.

Many production companies tout their "boat loads" and sometimes actual semi-truck loads, of high-tech equipment as their primary selling point. Oversized production crews, geek cameramen, catered food, cute little assistants and nerdy computer editors are often the norm. Bigger isn’t always better in the world of film/video productions, but it can sure cost more. At Lasso Productions, utilizing the finest equipment possible is important, but ultimately these are merely tools to be used as a means to attain the desired end results. Intangibles such as creativity, innovation, resourcefulness and ideas are the real heart and soul behind Lasso Productions.
